This is the third time that I have stayed at Kona Makai. This is the first time at this particular unit.
Overall the unit was good. The unit was clean, the sheets and towels were new, and the complex was very clean.
There were a number of issues however; many of the bulbs in the light fixtures were burnt out, the garbage disposal did not work, the sliding glass door to the lanai was extremely hard to open, and the remote controls for the ceiling fans did not work.
My roommate and I gave the phone number out to several people as a number they could get us at. The problem was that the number listed in the information binder in the unit was wrong. This resulted in one us not being able to get to a yoga class as well as the other person having to walk back to the unit from town.
Overall a good location but more attention needs to be focused on the small things.
