We stayed 14 days and everything except the weather was wonderful. It was very voggy this trip but that is Kona sometimes. We enjoy this condo and it always is well stocked with everything you need for a trip to the beach or a good meal at home. Thank you for sharing your lovely condo.

The grounds and facilities at Kanaloa are outstanding. The buildings and grounds were clean and extremely well maintained.

We stayed in unit 701 and it was decorated in an island theme and well stocked with all items necessary for a convenient and comfortable stay. The only negative comment is that there was a wedding party, with the emphasis on party, that stayed in several units throughtout the complex. For four nights running they partied loudly with complete disregard for other guests.

This condo in Kanaloa is great. It has everything you need. We have stayed in a few Kanaloa condos and this one was by far the best, furnishings are comfortable lots of kitchen gadgets. Everything was in working order and very clean. Loved the floors, no carpet, very cool on your feet. We will be back for another stay.

Our experience in the Hale Kalena (in the Kanaloa complex) was most enjoyable. The location was beautiful, the atmosphere relaxing, the people we met in the pool/spa were friendly, and the condo was spacious and well-equipped. I had two issues, however, with the condition of the condo: the guest bed was very uncomfortable (we had brought an egg crate for just such a problem), and the floors were dirty. Specifically, the floors looked clean, but bare feet can track just as much dirt into the house as shoes, so the floors should be washed and not just swept/vacuumed after visitors leave. These are the primary reasons for the four star rating (instead of five).

The unit had every thing we needed plus more It felt like staying at friends home. The unit was very well appointed with quality furniture and artwork. The kitchen was better equipped tha mine! The resort was well maintained with beautiful gardens and tasteful pools We had a wonderful time and happily reccommend it to anyone who has access to a car.

Hale Kalena(Kanaloa) was a wonderful find for our family. We had such a wonderful time in Keauhou. Our unit was in such a beautiful spot. We enjoyed all that the unit had to offer. The grounds were beautiful and the pools were fantastic, escpecially the pool by the ocean, very clean as well. We played tennis, golf and enjoyed the wonderful sunsets every evening. Our unit had everything we needed and we really enjoyed our morning breakfast on the Lanai. The view from the Lanai was fantastic and the area had everything we needed within a short walk or drive. There were a few problems with the unit that we were not expecting and they were the flying cockroaches and the fact that the unit has no tools for anything that may arrise. Some of the cupboard hinges were coming off as they are older and need to be refurbished. I had to borrow some makeshift tools from the front desk to try and fix the cupboards as the doors were coming off. This needs to be looked after. Also the problems with the bugs was quite annoying after awhile as the critters were getting into all of my wifes toiletries and they were numerous as we were killing them every night. We have stayed in Hawaii probably 10 times over the years and have never encountered a problem with bugs like this. Please don't take this the wrong way as we truly enjoyed this beautiful unit. It's just if you wanted our opinion on what could be looked after these are some of the things that need attention. We would very much like to return to this unit for a future stay as the whole family enjoyed our time there. Please tell the owners there place is fantastic and we would love to return. We also tried to keep the place as clean as possible as we respect other peoples property and i made my kids very aware of this fact. As your cleaning people probably told you we left this unit in probably cleaner condition than when we got there. Thank you again so much for allowing us the oppurtunity to stay here.
